Liga Campionilor ne propune marţi, incepand cu ora 21:45, cele 8 meciuri ale ultimei etape din faza grupelor A, B, C si D. Certitudinile sunt relativ putine, cele mai multe venind din grupa D. Aici, Dortmund si Arsenal s-au calificat de pe primele 2 locuri, iar Anderlecht va merge in Europa League. Pentru diferite obiective, lupta a ramas insa deschisa in celelalte 3 grupe.
De mentionat un aspect important: la egalitate intre doua echipe, departajarea se face astfel:
– numarul de puncte obtinute in meciurile directe dintre formatiile in cauza
– numarul mai mare de goluri marcat in meciurile directe dintre formatiile in cauza.

Juventus are 3 puncte avans, dar mai poate pierde calificarea. Acest lucru se intampla daca pierde meciul cu madrilenii, iar Olympiakos castiga pe teren propriu, contra lui Malmo. Juve castiga grupa, doar daca se impune la mai mult de 2 goluri diferenta. Malmo prinde locul 3, daca se intoarce invingatoare de la Pireu.

Liverpool merge in primavara europeana a Ligii Campionilor, daca se impune in duelul cu Basel. La egalitate , elvetienii merg mai departe, chiar daca Ludogorest detoneaza bomba pe Bernabeu. Daca ambele meciuri se termina la egalitate, actualul clasament ramane neschimbat.

Invinsa in dubla cu Zenit, Benfica nu mai poate prinde nici locul 3. Trupa din St.Petersburg este obligata sa castige la Monaco pentru a termina pe unul din primele 2 locuri. La remiza in Principat, mai departe merg Leverkusen si Monaco. Francezii au avantajul meciurilor directe cu Bayer si pot castiga grupa, daca ajung la egalitate de puncte cu reprezentanta Bundesligii.

Lucrurile sunt in mare lamurite. Borussia Dortmund castiga grupa si in cazul unei remize. Pentru a termina prima, Arsenal are nevoie nu doar de un X in meciul de la Dortmund, ci si de un succes la cel putin 7 goluri pe terenul Galatei.

Alexis Sanchez OUT! Five changes Arsenal must make against Galatasaray
Even though there is a slim chance Arsenal can still top the group with a win, Arsene Wenger must expect Borussia Dortmund to do their bit and therefore see this midweek fixture as an opportunity to rotate his squad during this busy festive period.
After an awful performance against Stoke, the squad players deserve a chance to prove their worth. Here’s five changes I would make:
1) Lukas Podolski for Alexis Sanchez
Arsenal can simply not afford to play Sanchez against in Turkey. I would rest him from the squad altogether. Wenger recently admitted Sanchez was ‘in the red zone’ and with that in mind, we must not risk him.
2) Tomas Rosicky for Aaron Ramsey
Rosicky has barely featured this season. Arsenal handed him a new contract this summer, but it’s hard to see why when he is never being used by the manager. He certainly has some useful qualities and this game will give him a chance to show Wenger he deserves more time.
3) Mathieu Debuchy for Hector Bellerin
I’d give Koscielny a chance to rest in this game. He has returned and looked very good, but we cannot afford him to pick up another injury on that tender achilles.
With Debuchy returning at right-back, I’d like to see Calum Chambers start alongside Per Mertesacker at the heart of the defence – despite their horror showing against Stoke.
Arsenal need to be able to play without Koscielny, and with Chambers banned for the next Premier League game, it makes sense to play him against Galatasaray.
4) Danny Welbeck for Olivier Giroud
Giroud was poor against Stoke and Welbeck deserves to start the game. I think the Frenchman is a very good player but would only use him from the bench, considering he has recently returned from a long-term injury.
Welbeck will be targeting another hat-trick against the Turkish outfit.
5) Joel Campbell for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Campbell surely deserves a start in this game. It might be his last chance to prove his worth at Arsenal, as Wenger seems to view him as a player not good enough for the first team.
I think he deserves a little run in the team to show what he can do. He showed everyone his abilities at the World Cup in the summer.
