„But we’ve shown up well against them. We’ve scored four goals in the two games, so we have caused them problems.
„We’ll have to be at our best, we have to go and impose ourselves on a good Aberdeen team. I’m sure they’ll be fired up obviously with the cup game out there, and it’s got the makings of a really good game.”

Going onto list the other players who are doubt, “Gary Irvine – ribs, James McPake – ribs, Kevin McBride – thigh, Simon Ferry – ankle, McAlister groin and David Clarkson – ankle. McGowan will also miss out through suspension.”
“Clarkson is touch and go, he rolled his ankle in training on Monday and hasn’t trained since.”
With so many players out, asked if he would consider bringing Craig Wighton back early from his loan spell at Brechin City, the boss said, “His last game is on Saturday and after that we will look at it, even if we send him out again he’ll have a recall on him.”

I was surprised that the bookies set the odds this high at Real, which I will try and take advantage of today. The teams are, judging by the table, quite close, but I think the home team have the upper hand for a few reasons. Real are, when it comes to players, a much better-quality team, and they get almost all the points in their home games. When away, Real become amazingly bad, but they even managed to beat Real Madrid, Atletico, and Barcelona at their stadium this season. Furthermore, the Bask team started doing much better since Moyes joined, and the situation with absences is not good either. Real played a draw with Levante in their last home game, but Levante are much different than Rayo. They are defense-oriented, while Rayo always play an offense-oriented game, which Real should be able to take advantage of. Real also had injury struggles in that match.
Rayo have done better than expected this season, but have been recording quite a few defeats lately. I think they will record another one today. Their defense is not good enough and won’t have top forward Baptistao to count on today.
